Can you believe that it is already 2006! This is the year of the dog! A good year for people born in 1970, 1982, 1994 and of course this year! Remember it goes in 12 year cycles so the next time it is the year of the dog, it will be in 2018. 2005 has been a very good year to us thanks to you! We have made key additions in our staffing and we lost a few friends who have gone home to the mainland. For 2006, we pledge to keep consistent with the service you deserve. Some of our staff are new but we are all 100% committed in the Cowabunga Computers way!
If you do a lot of web surfing, I've got a great little tip for you that will allow you to visit your favorite websites in Internet Explorer without it having to open up first. Right click your taskbar at the bottom, and go to the Toolbars option. Then check off the Links option. This will add a menu in your taskbar that will allow you to open any favorites you have in your Links folder! All you need to do now is add whatever Favorites you have into your Links folder by dragging and dropping them in Internet Explorer. If you ever want to close the Links toolbar, all you have to do is uncheck the Links option in the toolbar menu (right click the taskbar).
 We have been fortunate to be on the winning side of a bid with the State of Hawaii to perform maintenance for 551 PC’s, monitors and peripherals! This is for State wide support and we will soon be flying out weekly assisting users on all islands again! We are still in talks with a H-U-G-E retailer in this State to providing inhouse support for customers who have computers. Wait and see! We are also renewing our agreement with Time Warner for our RoadRunner approved status. Again, 130,000+ customers cannot be wrong when a company as reputable and gigantic as Time Warner approves us to work on their customers’ computers. Finally, we are wrapping up a few projects and look forward to more exciting projects in the coming months.
